Das steckt 2026 drin: 3,1% mehr Geld ab April und drei starke Sonderzahlungen seit Februar und ab Juli 2026

April 2026: 3,1% mehr Entgelt
Die Beschäftigten in der Metall- und Elektroindustrie bekommen ab April dauerhaft 3,1 Prozent mehr Entgelt – und zwar für alle Entgeltgruppen und auch für Auszubildende.Damit kommt ein weiteres wichtiges Ergebnis aus der Tarifrunde 2024 bei den Menschen an. Gerade in wirtschaftlich unruhigen Zeiten ist das ein starkes Zeichen: Gemeinsam erreichen wir mehr. Doch das ist nur der Anfang. 2026 bringt insgesamt spürbare Verbesserungen im Geldbeutel – vor allem durch die deutlichen Erhöhungen beim Tariflichen Zusatzgeld.
Februar 2026: Erhöhtes T‑ZUG B – rund 900 Euro brutto
Mit der Februar-Abrechnung wurde die erste Rate des T‑ZUG B ausgezahlt – und zwar zum ersten Mal in der deutlich erhöhten Form:
26,5 % des Eckentgelts
je nach Tarifgebiet rund 900 Euro brutto
etwa 300 Euro mehr als bisher
Diese Erhöhung hat die IG Metall in der Tarifrunde 2024 unter anderem mit massiven Warnstreiks durchgesetzt. Das T‑ZUG B ist damit nicht nur höher – es wurde auch als soziale Komponente dauerhaft gesichert, weil alle den gleichen Betrag erhalten, unabhängig von ihrer Entgeltgruppe.
Juli 2026: T‑ZUG A und Transformationsgeld
Mit der Juli-Abrechnung kommen weitere tarifliche Leistungen:
T‑ZUG A: 27,5 % des individuellen Monatsentgelts
→ auf Wunsch auch in freie Tage umwandelbar
Transformationsgeld (T‑Geld): 18,4 % des Monatsentgelts
Hintergrund: Das T‑Geld wurde aus Februar auf Juli verschoben, damit es – wie vereinbart – als Differenzierungsinstrument genutzt werden kann, ohne die soziale Komponente des T‑ZUG B anzutasten.
